We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Chemical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes to optimize production and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of chemical processes, and a commitment to safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing chemical processes based on raw materials and final product requirements.
- Conducting research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes.
- Analyzing process data and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including chemists, engineers, and technicians.
- Troubleshooting issues with production processes and providing technical support.
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Optimizing process controls to improve product quality and consistency.
- Developing and maintaining process documentation and operating instructions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in either Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering discipline from a reputed/recognized university.
- Proven experience in chemical process design and development, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar project engineering capacity within an engineering and construction environment.
- Previous experience of interfacing with engineering and construction contractors.
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
