Job description

Minimum Requirement:

  1. Matric
  2. Culinary Certificate or a Diploma in Catering Management would be an added advantage
  3. Minimum of 3 to 5 year’s experience as Chef
  4. Knowledge of HCCP regulations would be an advantage
  5. Must have knowledge and experience in Fine Dining Cuisine

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish menus and food specifications as per the restaurant requirements.
  2. Coordinate and supervise all food production activities within the kitchen.
  3. Assist management of operations of the restaurant.
  4. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  5. Monitor food stock and place orders accordingly.
  6. Ensure appealing presentation of food.
  7. Supervise junior chefs, as when required.
  8. Must be versatile.

Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Richards Bay and surroundings.
