Chef- Richards Bay
Job description
Minimum Requirement:
- Matric
- Culinary Certificate or a Diploma in Catering Management would be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 to 5 year’s experience as Chef
- Knowledge of HCCP regulations would be an advantage
- Must have knowledge and experience in Fine Dining Cuisine
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish menus and food specifications as per the restaurant requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise all food production activities within the kitchen.
- Assist management of operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock and place orders accordingly.
- Ensure appealing presentation of food.
- Supervise junior chefs, as when required.
- Must be versatile.
Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Richards Bay and surroundings.
