Chartering Director | Chemical Tankers

Angle Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to search for a Chartering Director with extensive experience in chemical tanker chartering. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing international shipowner and operator.

The Role:

As Chartering Director, you will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in the region by setting up a new office and driving commercial success. You’ll be working with IMO Type 1 and 2 vessels, requiring a deep understanding of the market, strong industry connections, and the ability to optimise chartering strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead chartering activities for chemical tankers, ensuring optimal employment of the fleet
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry players across the region
• Oversee commercial operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability
• Set up and develop the new regional office, establishing a strong market presence

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in chemical tanker chartering
• Strong knowledge of IMO Type 1 & 2 vessels
• A well-established network within the industry
• The ability to set up and grow a regional office
• Commercial acumen and strategic vision

Where It's Based:
Rotterdam, Antwerp, Stavanger, and Geneva form the key hubs for success in this sector. The final choice comes down to where the candidate will be based, but all are strong options.
