As we expand our reach, we're looking for a Channel Hardware Sales Professional who thrives in the distributor and reseller ecosystem and can help drive high-volume sales into the South African market.
Role Overview
We're looking for a young, energetic, and driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the South African hardware channel. You'll be responsible for growing CloudGate's market share by activating and expanding relationships with distributors, IT resellers, and systems integrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of CloudGate Mini-PCs through South Africa's ICT channel (distributors and resellers).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across distribution and reseller networks.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand product reach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement channel marketing and sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, market feedback, and pipeline reporting.
- Support channel partners with training, enablement, and occasional on-site engagements.
- Attend and represent CloudGate at industry events, roadshows, and partner meetings.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in hardware sales, with a strong focus on channel/distribution sales in South Africa.
- Excellent knowledge of the local IT distribution and reseller ecosystem, including key players and buying cycles.
- A solid network of existing channel contacts you can activate quickly.
- Passion for technology and the drive to position CloudGate as a top-tier Mini-PC brand.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven personality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
