Cellar Controller

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

1. Blending consistent quality products
2. Managing bulk stock effectively
3. Minimizing losses and write-offs
4. Effective admin housekeeping
5. Supervising and motivating people
6. Ensure that products received adheres to company specifications
7. Liaise with the necessary departments concerning production planned
8. Planning and coordinating of daily tasks
9. Ensure that departments quality management documents are kept up to date
10. Involve with internal and self-audits
11. Oversee that the right filtration material is used for the right product
12. Maintain effective housekeeping and safety practices

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

1. Matric plus relevant qualifications in Cellar Technology
2. Must have a knowledge of spirits and wines
3. Experience in Managing and Leading a team essential
4. Experience in Managing an MDT area essential
5. Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems and make relevant decisions
6. Ability to work under pressure
7. Be self-motivated and action driven
8. Be a team player and innovator
9. Sound leadership and conflict handling experience
10. Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
11. Computer literate
