Job Description
You will be:
Estimating and measurement of tender documents.
Preparing accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) & cost estimates.
Processing and negotiating payments & final accounts.
Reviewing and approving subcontractor quotations & payments.
Measuring & valuing variations.
Managing costs relating to Building Projects.
Ensuring adherence to project budgets & providing timely cost reporting.
Procuring subcontractors & materials as needed.
Conducting regular site visits & attending progress meetings.
Maintaining positive relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
Qualifications
Minimum National diploma in building science, B-Tech Qs and above preferred.
Skills
6 years experience in this QS role and 2 years as senior.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QS software, CSS.
Good knowledge of industry standards, construction methods, and materials.
