Category Buyer

A market leader in their field is looking for a Category Buyer to join their office in Warrington.

The main objective of the role is to support the Senior Buyer with developing a procurement strategy for the business.

Key duties will include:

• Deliver tendering processes in line with both category and departmental targets.
• Implementing and managing supplier and member contracts and analysing statistical and financial information within their category area.
• Develop and maintain continuous engagement with suppliers.

Candidate Requirements

Our client is looking for candidates with 1+ years' procurement experience.

You will currently be working as an Assistant Buyer looking for a step up or Buyer looking for a new challenge from any sector.

Ideally you will have services procurement tendering experience and strong excel knowhow.
