KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. To assist the Category Management Team in analysing customer specific data, market and consumer data in order to build sound business recommendations and develop and deliver high quality supporting to the business.
2. To implement predetermined commercial arrangements for a defined category in a timely manner to ensure that business requirements are met, which includes but not limited to:
1. Technical assistance
2. Category management support
3. Category analysis
4. Performance tracking
5. Data collection and processing
6. Total cost of ownership (TCO)
7. Continuous improvement
8. Planning and Reporting
9. Customer service – Internal and External stakeholders
10. SHERQ adherence and compliance in own area of work
11. Work ethics

QUALIFICATIONS (Essential unless otherwise indicated):

1. Grade 12
2. Certificate (1 year – NQF Level 5) in Supply Chain Management/Financial Management/Logistics/Engineering/Law
3. Qualified Artisan with N4 Engineering Studies
4. National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management/Financial Management/Logistics/Engineering/Law (Recommended)

EXPERIENCE (Essential unless otherwise indicated):

1. Minimum of two (2) years operational experience in a Technical environment (Essential)
2. Minimum of three (3) years operational Technical analysis (data and root cause) experience (Essential) (Total of five (5) years operational experience)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

1. Computer knowledge and skills: MS Office suite (Word – basic user, Excel – advanced user, PowerPoint – intermediate user; JD Edwards – basic user)
2. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
3. Relationship building: Ability to build relationships with employees, clients, management, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders
4. Project Management: Ability to manage and coordinate projects involving internal and external parties and stakeholders; Project coordination and planning; Budget and cost management within the project
5. Analysis: Analyse data and verify the information to determine suitable recommendations and elicited support for BI opportunities identified
6. Technical: Engineering, production processes, mining operating principles; Applies relevant knowledge, skills and procedures to all technical aspects of the job

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. Driver’s License - Code B/EB
2. Medically Fit - Meet required medically fitness standards

TERMS & CONDITIONS: The candidate will be appointed on the condition of being certified medically fit as per Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996. Remuneration will be based on a competitive all-inclusive flexible package.

Designated groups will receive preference. Woman-in-mining candidates will receive preference.
