Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Camp Manager for a prestigious lodge in the Greater Kruger Region. Key Outputs:
- Stock Control and Orders: Efficiently manage stock control and orders.
- Bar Service Management: Oversee and control bar services.
- Guest Delight Activities: Manage and enhance guest delight activities.
- Guest Experience: Ensure an exceptional overall guest experience.
- Hospitality and Food: Oversee general hospitality and food service.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee general appearance and manage maintenance issues.
- Staff Development: Focus on skills development for staff.
- Community Development: Drive community development projects in conjunction with the Africa Foundation.
- Budget Management: Understand and manage budgets, GP’s, and finances.
- PAN Strat Knowledge: Possess knowledge and understanding of PAN Strat.
- Reservation Management: Manage all reservations and bookings.
Knowledge Required:
- Camp Management: Knowledge or experience in running a camp, as well as previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Hotel Management Degree: Beneficial but not essential.
- Relevant Qualifications: Any relevant qualifications would be beneficial.
- Driver’s License: Valid, unendorsed South African driver’s license.
Skills Required:
- Management Skills: Strong management skills.
- Front Office Experience: Experience in front office operations.
- Food and Wine Knowledge: Good knowledge of food and wine.
Previous Work Experience Required:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Lodge/Camp Management: Experience running a lodge or camp is beneficial.

This is a permanent live-in position. Transport to/from leave cycles is the successful candidate’s own responsibility.
