CAD Technician Junior Civil Engineer

Position : CAD Technician / Junior Civil Engineer or Technician

Experience : 13 years

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and produce detailed civil engineering drawings including concrete and steel structures using Caddie or similar CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to develop and implement technical designs and drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and project specifications.
• Support the engineering team in the planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects.
• Maintain and organize project documentation and drawings.

Requirements :

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 03 years of relevant experience in a civil engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans (essential).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in creating concrete and steelwork drawings.
• Familiarity with additional CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Knowledge of relevant South African building standards and regulations.
