Job Purpose
Support Sales and Marketing through sales growth, administration, stock control, and customer service to achieve departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Administration
- Acquire and maintain customer accounts, monitor monthly sales, and provide feedback to management.
- Implement marketing strategies, and promotional activities, and master route planning.
- Assist in credit applications, debt collection, and customer risk management.
- Maintain company assets and equipment.
Stock Control
- Liaise with the warehouse to ensure stock availability and manage consignment stock.
- Monitor customer buying patterns and stock replenishment needs.
Compliance
- Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
- Report risks and inefficiencies to management.
Customer Service
- Build strong customer relationships and resolve queries effectively.
- Provide product training and ensure updated customer databases.
- Supply POS materials and manage in-store branding.
Cost Control
- Monitor gross profit and pricing structures.
- Optimize company resources and reduce unnecessary expenses.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Certificate (NQF 5)
- Experience: Up to 3 years in a Business Representative or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Technical: MS Office, SAP, ERP, Salesforce.
- Behavioral: Proactive, problem-solving, planning, customer-focused, communication skills, resilience, and flexibility.
