They are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Process Engineer with a strong background in agriculture to help streamline their operations, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. Full relocation will be provided. Only candidates who speak Afrikaans, have a degree, and live in the Cape will be considered.
Position Overview:
As a Business Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving the business processes within their agricultural operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, reduce costs, and ensure our processes are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize key business processes, focusing on agricultural production, logistics, supply chain management, and inventory control.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to identify areas of inefficiency and develop actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with farming teams, supply chain managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless process integration and alignment with business goals.
- Project Management: Lead or support process improvement projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Automation: Implement automation solutions where appropriate to reduce manual effort and improve overall process efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure that all processes comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and environmental best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Process Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or business analysis, preferably within the agriculture or agribusiness sector.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of agricultural production processes, supply chains, and inventory management.
- Proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and project management methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems and process automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
