Job Summary: The Fleet and Business Planner will be responsible for optimizing import/export operations, managing a minor corridor, and enhancing financial performance through strategic planning, data analysis, and commercial decision-making.
This role involves creating buy plans, conducting GP analysis, optimizing trip and mobilization, and developing comprehensive trip plans.
The planner will collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to drive business improvements and financial optimization.
Education: Degree in a technical subject.
Years of Experience: 3 years.
Mandatory / Preferred Requirements: Experience in a strategic planning role within FMCG, logistics, or supply chain environments.
Managerial Experience: Nice to have; ability to manage could change role level.
Skills: Data analysis (including advanced Excel proficiency), Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Financial Literacy (including Excel-based financial modeling), Scenario Planning/Modeling, Planning, Interpersonal skills, Negotiations, Budgeting and Forecasting.
Specific Knowledge: Relevant Planning Experience Required.
Ability to build financial models with prior experience in building G2N and/or GP analysis.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:20 AM – 4:20 PM, and Alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
