Business Optimisation Specialist

A world-renowned organisation is looking for a Business Optimisation Specialist to join this organisation. The main purpose of the role is to identify and implement systems and/or process improvement interventions that meet the business change requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Understanding business change needs.
• Identifying and implementing system and/or process improvement interventions.
• Embedding a culture of efficient systems utilisation; understanding and analysing master data.
• Executing improvement projects following gap analysis on processes.

Systems Integration Projects:

• Co-developing requisite business systems’ programmes, policies, and procedures, and ensuring implementation thereof.
• Contributing to the implementation of business solutions within agreed quality, time, and cost parameters.
• Identifying and executing cost-saving projects.

Stakeholder Management:

• Being the “go-to business contact” and supporting the business to utilise systems optimally in the enhancement of business operations (efficiency).
• Reviewing SLA of service providers in order to optimize service delivery.
• Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders, facilitating negotiations of requirements, and assisting business stakeholders to utilise business best practices in support of an operationally excellent culture.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Systems Analysis — Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
• Judgment and Decision Making — Evaluating various sources of data and deciding on applicable ones for business optimisation.
• Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Converting complex data sets into graphs and charts for easy trend tracking.

Requirements:

• Business management degree or equivalent.
• 5 years' demonstrated experience supporting a manufacturing/operation environment.
• 3 to 5 years of data analysis and report compilation.
• 2 to 3 years of operational auditing experience.
• Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
