Business Development Manager - Mining and Heavy (SADC Region)

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Business Development Manager to join its industry-leading sales team.

What You Will Do:

  1. Develop and expand existing and new national accounts in a designated industry segment.
  2. Design and implement strategic business plans for national accounts.
  3. Present value-add products and programs, highlighting impact to the customer's business.
  4. Ensure customer service delivery emphasizing the delivery of Nalco Water's value proposition.
  5. Build and secure major new business accounts at the corporate level.
  6. Partner and lead service and sales teams to ensure that revenue and profit targets are met and delivery of Service Standards are consistent.

Territory / Location Information:

Role will cover the SSA Region. Targeted accounts are within the industries. As a trusted partner, your customers will rely on you for their success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8 years of technical sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.).
  2. Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
  3. Demonstrated large account management success in selected industry with executive-level relationship sales experience.
