A new business division, Tied Agency Distribution, has a position available for a Business Development Manager.
This is a permanent position and will be based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
This is a specialist position, which is primarily responsible for the implementation and support of the Santam Tied Agent Model, together with the development and support of the Sanlam Short-Term Insurance Advisors.
• Matric /Grade 12
• Short-term Insurance related qualification
• RE5 Certificate/FAIS compliant (120 credits on NQF level 4)
• Minimum 3+ years of Business Development experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the Short-Term insurance (personal and commercial lines)
• Valid driver's license
• Target orientated and results driven
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and solution focused
• Structured with good organizational skills
• Self-motivated/self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision
• Confident to influence, gain commitment and lead
