Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design integrated, client-specific technology solutions across CCTV, access control, perimeter, alarm systems, and other large-scale security systems.
- Interpret client needs to compile tailored technical solutions with detailed implementation costs.
- Leverage your commercial expertise to develop, document, and cost technical proposals for clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry stakeholders, including consultants, property developers, corporate clients, and large industrial players, to drive sustainable pipelines.
- Lead the bid process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to create strategic, high-impact proposals.
- Actively pursue opportunities within existing client accounts and identify new client prospects.
- Engage with technology suppliers for system integration and cost negotiation.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Financial acumen with the ability to create and manage project budgets.
- Proficiency in bid project planning and tracking progress.
- Understanding of tender documentation and relevant contracting agreements, such as JBCC.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships, acting as a point of contact for bids, tenders, and proposals.

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or diploma (advantageous).
- Proven track record in business development and sales, specifically in security technology solutions for projects exceeding R5 million.
- Achieved sales targets of over R40 million annually.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Project management expertise, commercial acumen, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills, coupled with a sense of urgency, innovation, and attention to detail.
