To spearhead business development endeavours in South Africa, foster growth opportunities, and meet revenue objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's presence in the South African market, with a focus on the Oil & Gas, Mining and Renewable Energy sectors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients to achieve revenue targets and market growth objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and potential clients.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive activities, providing insights for business decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of services, addressing client requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and agreements to secure business opportunities.
Keep abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policies.
Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
10 -12 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated success in business development and sales in South Africa, particularly within the Testing, Inspection and Certification field with a focus on the Oil & Gas, Mining and Renewable Energy sectors.
In-depth knowledge of the South African business landscape.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Must be a South African Resident
