Business and Data Analyst

The core purpose of the role is to bridge the gap between business objectives and data solutions by translating business needs into actionable insights. This role enables informed decision-making through the effective use of business intelligence tools, requirements gathering, data analysis, and the development of reports and dashboards that support strategic and operational goals.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, or equivalent
2. 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-related.
3. Strong SQL querying skills and experience working with data warehouses

Key Competencies

1. Proficient in business intelligence and reporting tools, with a preference for Power BI
2. Skilled in SQL with the ability to write complex queries, validate data, and extract actionable insights
3. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including ETL processes and relational databases
4. Understanding of data governance, accuracy, and quality assurance principles
5. Exposure to healthcare analytics, claims data, and regulatory reporting (advantageous)
