Business Analyst (Consultant Level) - Talent Pooling

We are Talent Pooling for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst is accountable for guiding the business requirements by working with the business stakeholders and collaborating with feature teams to ensure effective end-to-end delivery.

Main Responsibilities

1. Discovering the underlying business need to be addressed and information related to the product and project requirements, often through conversations with stakeholders.
2. Elicit requirements using interviews or facilitation sessions as required, understanding the needs from multiple stakeholders.
3. Identify user journeys which map out how a user will go through the system.
4. Identification and definition of user stories or use cases.
5. Create product roadmap.
6. Work ahead of the team to get clarity on some requirements before the next iteration.
7. Specifying requirements by documenting them in a format that can be shared with stakeholders.
8. Produce Business Analysis or systems analysis documents covering the agreed content, including business process descriptions, use case scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
9. Facilitate and participate in iteration meetings (product backlog grooming, planning meeting, daily stand-up, review meeting, and retrospective).
10. Manage the stories ensuring that all requirements are loaded as stories, ensuring the stories are assigned to epics.
11. Support showcasing stories to stakeholders.
12. Assess and challenge assumptions that based on analysis do not appear to be feasible either technically or from a planned execution perspective.
13. Work closely with the testing team in validating all test cases have been adequately identified. Assist in the testing process within feature teams and the UAT team.
14. Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
15. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.

1. Minimum of 4 to 5 years extensive experience working in a similar software development/project environment.
2. Experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Global Markets beneficial.
3. Financial Products knowledge.
4. Awareness and knowledge of new technologies and how to integrate these into solutions.
5. College or University degree.
6. SCRUM and Agile Methodology.
7. Travel to client sites as required.
8. Travel to other locations as and when required.
9. Stable internet connection.

Fixed Term Contract with Independent Contractor through a contracting company.
