Business Analyst

Are you a skilled Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Transfer Agency operations and a solid grasp of South African Collective Investment Schemes (CIS)?

Our client is looking for an extra set of hands to support on analysis, process mapping, and vendor interaction on the register side of Transfer Agency.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support the end-to-end process across TA activities: onboarding, additions, switches, redemptions, and transfers
• Assist in managing dealing cut-offs (MMF vs non-MMF) and understanding implications
• Provide support on distributions (DWT, IWT) — no need to be an expert, just a solid working knowledge
• Collaborate with local vendors and ensure correct instruction flow
• Help streamline processes and maintain data accuracy on the register

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong working knowledge of South African CIS operational standards and processes
• Prior experience working in or supporting Transfer Agency functions
• Familiarity with TA systems, fund instruction flows, and regulatory requirements
• Able to hit the ground running and work independently with minimal handholding
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
