The Business Analyst will be an integral member of our continuous improvement team at the client site. The team's primary goal is to support 4PL Operations and the client by delivering actionable insights, relevant reports, and decision support. This will assist in optimizing operations, driving cost-saving initiatives, and identifying, testing, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigations: Analyze operational and internal processes to identify the root causes of cost drivers and inefficiencies.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth data analysis to guide business decisions. Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for data-driven insights.
Project Management: Identify opportunities for process improvement, design solutions, and oversee projects through to successful delivery.
Critical Thinking: Leverage critical thinking skills to examine data trends, detect anomalies, and provide actionable insights to drive operational improvements.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver accurate, timely insights.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity by implementing best practices in data management, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all data.

Qualifications:
Required:
BEng/BSc in Industrial Engineering, BCom Informatics/Information Systems Management, or a related field.
Experience & Skills:
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years in data analysis and process improvement.
Experience in the FMCG industry and transport routing/scheduling is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL (preferred).
Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Soft Skills:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Comfortable managing multiple initiatives in high-pressure environments.
