Analysis and Solution Definition

1. Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry.
2. Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
3. Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
4. Gathers, prepares, reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
5. Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.

1. Possesses a good understanding of databases, MSSQL and, SDLC.

1. Coordinates testing efforts. Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
2. Works with client personnel to identify required changes.
3. Communicates needed changes to development team.

1. Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
2. Manages client expectations effectively.

1. Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
2. Ability to manage multiple projects.
3. Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback.
4. Communicates and applies project standards.
5. Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
6. Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

1. Must be able to produce strong, quality documentation.

1. IT Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. 4+ years business analysis experience.
3. 2+ years MSSQL Experience.
4. Previous developer or database administrator experience will be an advantage.
5. Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across the organization.
6. Experience with working to deadlines and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Knowledge of standard IT practices related to business application development/implementation.
8. Process driven analysis skills.
9. Proficiency with the SDLC processes.

1. The Business Analyst is a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between Business needs and Technology delivery.
2. The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing business requirements and related business rules based on Business Group needs. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Business IT in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements.
3. The Business Analyst will identify requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis. The Analyst will solicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
