Junior Engineer/Technician

Are you ready to take the next step in your engineering career with a leading construction company? We are hiring a Junior Engineer/Technician to join our dynamic team based in Westmead, Pinetown, Durban!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
2. Use AutoCAD (or equivalent programs) to produce crane studies, panel stack layouts, spec sheets, and formwork designs.
3. Measure drawings to price projects and estimate consumables.
4. Liaise with architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors to manage costs and solve design challenges.
5. Conduct site visits to record progress, challenges, and quality.
6. Oversee construction of formwork and manage equipment requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience in the construction industry or a related field.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage project documentation.
4. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
