REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 25.
• Applicants must be in their first, second, or third year of studies at a recognised South African institution of higher learning, which includes universities and universities of technology.
• The applicant must have achieved an aggregate of 70% to qualify.

THE BURSARY COVERS:

• Full tuition fees.
• Compulsory prescribed books.
• Stationery and laptop.
• Monthly stipend.
• Accommodation.

Funding for the following qualifications will be capped at R50 000:

• Biotechnology
• Information Technology
• Microbiology
• Environmental
• Biochemistry

Funding for the following qualifications will be fully covered:

• Electrical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Robotics and Advanced Control
• Mechanical Engineering
