Responsibilities

Job Overview: The role of the incumbent is to outload flour from the bulk bins into tanker trucks at the Mill Bulk loading bays to our Bakery customers.

1. Complete loading record sheet and confirm loading.
2. Guide truck under bins.
3. Weigh tankers in for loading.
4. Load flour type and mass according to order.
5. Take flour sample for Lab analysis.
6. Liaise with Mill team on requirements.
7. Conduct safety and cleanliness customer care checks.
8. Maintain good housekeeping standards.
9. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
10. Adhere to safety requirements.
11. Conduct bin dips.
12. Cleaning of the Mill and Bulk area.
13. Will be required to do general plant maintenance.

Qualifications

Health and safety standards:

1. Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification (Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be applied based on SETA accreditations).
2. 6 months experience in a similar environment will be advantageous.
3. Computer literacy will be advantageous.
4. Forklift license will be an advantage.
5. Working at heights training.
