Building Maintenance Technician -Midrand

Duties:

1. Ensures that all maintenance tasks are carried out on a daily basis according to faults logged.
2. Performs all repairs and maintenance (painting, cleaning, waterproofing, irrigation, replacement of globes & tubes, small plumbing work, door & lock repairs, cleaning of gutters and full bores, etc.) as requested by the Operations Manager.
3. Identifies maintenance requirements whilst conducting inspections on site.
4. Observes the entire property daily and reports leaks, breakages, and non-functioning parts to the Operations Manager.
5. Responds to complaints received from any tenant and advises the Operations Manager.
6. Completes checklists on a daily basis.
7. Maintains a high level of service delivery to internal and external clients through effective communication channels.
8. Ensures availability to the Property Management team as well as existing and new tenants.
9. Maintains good relationships with all stakeholders, both internal (property management) and external (tenants, service providers).
10. Responsible for night and weekend duties as agreed with the General Manager and Operations Manager.

Requirements:

1. 2 years experience in a similar role.
2. Matric.
3. Proven track record of strong technical ability and aptitude.
