BTL Traffic / Production Manager

BTL Traffic / Production Manager required in Johannesburg.

Our client a thriving and busy ad agency based in Johannesburg has a vacancy for a traffic / production manager.

The focus of their accounts would be BTL. Previous advertising experience essential.

Please note only candidates with previous experience in production within and agency as well as knowledge of chase need apply. If you have managed project or worked in a client services capacity, this will be an added bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Opening job bags and loading onto the system.
• Coordinating the necessary designers, studio, creative/art directors.
• Full production function.
• Organising necessary freelancers if required.
• Co-ordinate weekly status meetings.
• Keep a close eye on timing and deadlines to ensure the job is on track.
• Chasing cost estimates, samples and pulls of jobs.
• Organising the necessary photographers and photo shoots.

Skills and expertise:

• Point of sale for FMCG retail environment would be preferred.
• Experience with events, collateral, trade presenters, gift boxes, leaflets, etc. is essential.
• Great understanding of print production e.g: digital, litho and web.
• Great admin skills required.
• Full production function.
• Ability to run the production department with no supervision.
• Booking in jobs and oversee the entire production process.
• Visit major accounts once a year to develop strong relationships with these clients.
• Self motivated.
• Polite and courteous.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Good organisations skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Problem-solving skills.
