Job Summary:
Penquin Advertising is looking for a passionate and driven mid-level brand strategist to help elevate our clients’ brands and take their marketing efforts to new heights. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing effective brand strategies that deliver measurable results while also keeping a close eye on market trends and consumer insights.
You’ll work alongside our talented creative, digital, and account teams to ensure brand consistency and resonance across all channels. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is excited to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mid-level Brand Strategist at Penquin, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and driving brand strategies that engage audiences and deliver results.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  1. Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with clients’ business objectives and market positioning.
  2. Market Research & Insights: Conduct thorough market research and analyse consumer behaviour to uncover valuable insights that guide strategic decisions.
  3. Brand Positioning: Develop and articulate clear and compelling brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  4. Campaign Planning: Collaborate with creative and digital teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that bring brand strategies to life.
  5. Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all channels, from digital to traditional marketing platforms.
  6. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their brand vision and provide strategic guidance throughout projects.
  7. Analysis: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of brand initiatives and campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  8. Creative Briefing: Develop clear and inspiring creative briefs that align with strategic goals and provide direction to creative teams.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: At least three years in a brand strategy or marketing role, with experience in an agency setting.
  • Education: A degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies. Excellent understanding of brand development, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with creative and account teams. Strong organisational and project management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Mindset: Innovative, proactive, and always thinking about the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
Experience with digital marketing strategies and tools. Familiarity with design thinking and consumer journey mapping. Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies.
