Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager: Sponsorships, Events & Below the Line to join our dynamic team! This role will be instrumental in driving brand engagement and customer interaction through on-ground activations and targeted Below the Line campaigns. Reporting to the Senior Manager for Sponsorships, Events, and Below the Line, you will be responsible for creating impactful brand experiences in branches and through agent networks, enhancing brand visibility and customer loyalty.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Activations Strategy Development
Develop a comprehensive activations strategy document outlining objectives, target audiences, key messaging, and activation channels.
Manage the activation calendar detailing planned activations, timelines, locations, and resources required.
Evaluate criteria and KPIs established to measure the success of activations against strategic objectives.
Prepare and present post-activation reports analyzing attendance, engagement, feedback, and ROI for each activation event.
Prepare and present recommendations for refining and optimizing activations strategy based on performance insights.
Below the Line Campaign Management
Prepare BTL campaign briefs outlining campaign objectives, target audiences, messaging, creative concepts, and media channels.
Ensure creative assets are developed for BTL campaigns, including print materials, direct mailers, and promotional items.
Prepare and present campaign performance reports tracking key metrics such as reach, response rates, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition.
Conduct post-campaign analysis highlighting successes, challenges, and learnings, with recommendations for future campaigns.
Document campaign processes and best practices for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Branch Experience Enhancement
Create branch branding guidelines ensuring consistency in brand messaging, visuals, and customer experience across all branches.
Implement branch enhancement projects to improve signage, layout, décor, and customer engagement zones with input from internal teams.
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to gather feedback on branch experience improvements.
Track metrics such as branch foot traffic, customer dwell time, and customer satisfaction scores before and after enhancements.
Prepare and present periodic branch performance reports evaluating the impact of enhancements on brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales.
Agent Network Engagement
Establish agent feedback mechanisms to gather insights on brand perception, product knowledge, and marketing effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build metrics tracking agent participation, engagement levels, before and after marketing initiatives.
Measurement and Analysis
Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track activations, BTL campaigns, branch initiatives, and agent participation metrics in real-time.
Generate and share regular performance reports with stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.
Conduct testing experiments to optimize activation strategies, BTL campaigns, and branch experiences based on data-driven findings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct cross-channel attribution analysis to assess the impact of activations, BTL campaigns, and branch initiatives on overall brand performance.
Review various reports to evaluate the effectiveness of brand initiatives, identify opportunities for optimization, and align future strategies with business objectives.
Key Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
Bachelor's degree or Advanced diploma in Business, Marketing or related field
6 years progressive experience in activations, BTL marketing, or related fields.
6 years experience in coordinating global events and implementing below-the-line tactical plans.
Knowledge of the fintech industry and its global market dynamics.
Ability to think and act globally, understanding the cultural, regulatory, and market differences across various regions.
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Understanding of international sponsorship and event regulations, ensuring compliance in all global markets.
Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from various cultures and backgrounds.
