Brand Manager - Beauty (JB)

Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng

Salary: R50 - 60 per month, CTC

Employment Type: Initial three-month contract

We are seeking an experienced Beauty Brand Manager to develop and execute the brand vision, ensuring consistency, growth, and consumer connection across all touchpoints. Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree with honours in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. 5–8 years' experience in Brand Management, specifically within the beauty industry.
  3. Proven experience in market analysis, product development, and strategic brand positioning.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and develop branded monthly beauty marketing content that drives sales, strengthens brand identity, and boosts customer engagement by optimising catalogue layouts, ensuring design accuracy, and evaluating campaign effectiveness for ongoing improvement.
  2. Drive new product development by researching trends, collaborating with suppliers, conceptualising packaging and sizing, crafting compelling brand stories, supporting product launches with marketing and ROI analysis, and delivering training to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  3. Conduct regular brand and campaign analyses by reviewing catalogue performance, customer feedback, and brand health; lead quarterly planning sessions and SWOT reviews to ensure relevance, and develop strategic plans, brand guidelines, and merchandise insights to support product and marketing initiatives.
  4. Maintain and evolve the brand's visual identity and guidelines to ensure consistency, develop comprehensive training materials for internal and external stakeholders, analyse brand performance and customer feedback, and implement strategies to strengthen loyalty, engagement, and overall brand perception.
  5. Manage the brand's product categories by ensuring strategic alignment, developing promotional themes to drive sales and loyalty, and monitoring category performance to optimise the product mix and deal constructs.
