Joya Brands is looking for a Brand Manager to join their team!

Position / Title: Brand Manager

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Function: Marketing

Location: Atlantis, approx. 50 km outside of CT center

Number of Reports: 0

Overall Responsibility:

To profitably deliver the brand plan, which will include, but not be limited to market research and insights generation, delivering the brand communication plan, new product launches and other brand management functions (act as the custodian of the brand).

Main Responsibilities by Focus Area:

  1. Focus Area 1: Deliver annual brand plans in line with business and portfolio strategy.
  2. Deliver the Annual Brand Plan aiding the Business & Brand Objectives.
  3. Develop and Manage the Brand Campaign Calendar.
  4. Brief, Strategize and Execute Through The Line Campaigns Annually.
  5. Create Post Campaign Reviews to Assess the Impact and Success of Marketing Activities.
  6. Use Brand Health Insights to Improve on Brand Strategy.
  7. Manage Product Packaging Artwork and Design.
  8. New Projects and Initiatives Measured on Scope, Time and Budget.
  1. Focus Area 2: Data Management and Insights.
  2. Ongoing Review of Brand and Market Trends.
  3. Monthly Review and Delivery of Brand Market Performance.
  4. Conduct Bi-Annual Consumer and Market Research.
  5. Drive Research and Insights on Brand Health.
  6. Digital Marketing Reporting.
  1. Focus Area 3: Execution of TTL & BTL Campaigns.
  2. Conduct a post-campaign quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  3. Tracking of campaigns & content calendar.
  4. Drive implementation of BTL elements in line with campaign objectives.
  5. Liaise with external activation agencies to train promoters, manage day-to-day schedules and provide insights into effectiveness.
  1. Focus Area 4: Deliver projects within agreed timeframes and in line with Category innovations plan.
  2. Work Closely with Procurement Manager and Identify and Manage Value Engineering Initiatives.
  3. Co-ordinate and Manage Packaging Development.
  4. Create, Manage and Adhere to Processes, Standard Operating Procedures and Timelines.
  5. Ensure All Departments are Aligned Through Scheduled Meetings and Project Plans.
  1. Focus Area 5: Stakeholder Management.
  2. Brief and Manage Creative and Media Agencies.
  3. Customer Reviews and Complaints Management.
  4. On Time and Accurate Payment of Suppliers.
  5. Manage and Communicate our Brand Personality and Values Internally.
  1. Focus Area 6: Brand Communication.
  2. Communicate the Right Product to the Right Audience in The Right Context.
  3. Manage Social Media Content and Plan.
  4. Ensure Compliance with Brand Standards Across All Media Platforms.
  5. Updating of visual asset bank.
  6. Visual office management including boardroom & internal campaign communication.

Requirements of the Role:

Qualification: Degree in Marketing or Business Management.

Experience: 3-5 Years Marketing / Brand Management experience in FMCG environment.
