Branch Consultant/ Financial Advisor - Giyani/Malemulele

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of SRM product ranges.
  • Understand customer needs and provide suitable products to meet their financial goals.
  • Continuously update customers on new products and manage the implications of product changes on their portfolios.
  • Validate client details in line with product and regulatory requirements and submit new business through the correct channels.
  • Conduct due diligence on clients to identify risks.
  • Manage daily appointments while accommodating walk-in clients.

In-branch Client Service and Client Retention:

  • Service and manage client profiles to ensure retention.
  • Send payment reminders and conduct follow-ups.
  • Manage NTUs and take corrective actions as required.
  • Consult with clients on alternative payment arrangements.
  • Provide in-branch servicing in line with client experience standards.
  • Resolve client queries or escalate when necessary.

Quality, Compliance and Continuous Development:

  • Adhere to compliance and quality standards.
  • Maintain registration and product knowledge.
  • Identify risks and flag fraudulent activities.
  • Log all activities as per regulations.

Monthly Planning and Reporting:

  • Report activities daily using relevant technology platforms.
  • Collate data for weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Perform ad-hoc requirements as requested by the Retail Branch Manager.

Qualification and Experience:

  • 1-year experience in a sales or marketing capacity.
  • Experience within insurance branches is an advantage.
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • RE5 advantageous.
  • FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.
  • Class of Business training to be completed within 12 months of employment.
