POSITION: Bookseller (195 Hour)
REPORTING TO: Store Manager
STORE: Shop 15 De Ville Centre, Cape Town, Western Cape

Purpose of the job:
As a bookseller, you will receive and unpack stock, categorize books, and merchandise stock for the customer. You will also focus on customer service, ensuring the customer receives excellent service by addressing their needs. You will build your book knowledge daily to establish strong relationships with customers and drive sales.

Qualifications required for this role:
We are looking for an energetic and well-presented sales person who is physically strong and healthy. A minimum of a matric is required, with experience in retail or a sales environment preferred. Candidates may be starting out in their careers with a marketing qualification, or a degree in English literature, Communications, Journalism, or other relevant qualifications that will benefit their career in a bookstore. You will gain people skills, knowledge, and exposure to merchandising, promotions, sales techniques, the publishing industry, authors, etc., which will set you up for your future career.
