Preparation and capturing of General Ledger journals
Assisting in preparation of management accounts
Assisting in preparation of annual budgets
Assistance with internal/external auditors
Preparation of Balance sheet recons
Preparation of Vat workings and returns
Maintaining and updating of fixed assets register
Assistance with Debtors and Creditors duties
General administration and filing
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (With Mathematics & Accounting as subjects)
Tertiary Bookkeeping/Finance qualification
Minimum 3-5 years bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of Accounting software packages
Strong MS Office skills
Ability to work under pressure and according to tight deadlines
Have excellent documentation and communication skills
Attention to Detail and high level of accuracy
OFFICE HOURS Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00 TRAINING This position will be based in Overport. However, the successful candidate will undergo an initial 3 months training/supervision at the company head office in Mobeni. REMUNERATION
