BOOKKEEPER /ADMIN MANAGER – FM1844
Job description
Cradock Area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper/Admin Manager to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Accounting/ Bookkeeping diploma/degree/certificates
- At least 5-10 years previous experience in bookkeeping
- Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
- Computer Literate
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Valid drivers license
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Journal entries for all financial transactions and filling of documentation.
- Posting journal entries to ledger accounts.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparing cash flow statements.
- Bringing books to finalized Trial Balance stage.
- Account preparation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
- Supervision of others in accounting system.
- Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
- Paying accounts for the organization.
- Reconciliation of VAT and VAT 201 submissions.
- Performing payroll and submitting SARS EMP 201 forms.
- Assisting with imports from Europe.
- Performing other administrative duties as required.
