Job description

Cradock Area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper/Admin Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Accounting/ Bookkeeping diploma/degree/certificates
  2. At least 5-10 years previous experience in bookkeeping
  3. Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
  4. Computer Literate
  5. Good interpersonal skills
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  7. Strong critical thinking skills
  8. Valid drivers license

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Journal entries for all financial transactions and filling of documentation.
  2. Posting journal entries to ledger accounts.
  3. Bank reconciliations.
  4. Preparing cash flow statements.
  5. Bringing books to finalized Trial Balance stage.
  6. Account preparation to assert the accuracy of transactions.
  7. Supervision of others in accounting system.
  8. Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements.
  9. Paying accounts for the organization.
  10. Reconciliation of VAT and VAT 201 submissions.
  11. Performing payroll and submitting SARS EMP 201 forms.
  12. Assisting with imports from Europe.
  13. Performing other administrative duties as required.
