Our client, a market leader in the visual production and manufacturing sector, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper, based in Empangeni.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately accounting for the business's financial transactions and providing useful and accurate reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce accurate Management Accounts including:
Cashbook
Invoicing
Debtors control
Supplier and Creditor Control
Control and recording of all Petty Cash
Cashflow Forecasting
Balance Sheet - including depreciation and asset registers kept up to date, as well as loan accounts
Any other administrative and bookkeeping duties that may be required from time to time including journals
Accurate administration of the payroll, HR contracts, and disciplinary enquiries including:
Processing the pay run
Ensuring that all employees have up-to-date employment contracts
Assisting with disciplinary enquiries as necessary
SARS, WCA, and other legal requirements:
Prepare and load all payments to SARS and WCA
Complete all SARS and other legal returns that are required such as Emp 201, Emp 501, WCA returns, and BBEE
Manage any required audits
Ensure that all assets are correctly insured at all times
Facilitate any queries and insurance claims
Keep all car licenses up to date
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Must be prepared and able to work one Saturday per month
