Bookkeeper

Our Quick Service Restaurant client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team in Durban.

Salary : Market-Related

Requirements :

1. Driver's Licence and own vehicle is a must.
2. Tertiary Financial Management / Accounting qualifications is a must.
3. Must be proficient in MS Office.
4. 3 years’ experience in Sage 50 / Sage 200 or similar System
5. 3 years experience in the FMCG, Fast Food or Retail stores
6. 3 years experience in a similar role
7. Strong attention to detail is a must

Responsibilities :

1. Financial reporting: Collate, prepare and interpret reports.
2. Review the accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
3. Inventory valuation and verification of count sheets.
4. Ensuring tax compliance and compliance with statutory regulations.
5. Audit process and ensure financial statements are completed.
6. Managing budgets and variance analysis.
7. Implement internal controls and SOPs.
8. Liaising with the operations team.
9. Maintaining fixed asset registers.
10. Analysis of financial reports.
11. Implementing SOPs.
