Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with UK accounting standards.
Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and bank payments.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger balances.
Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow summaries.
Assist with payroll support and VAT submissions when required.
Monitor company budgets and flag any inconsistencies or irregularities.
Collaborate with accountants and external auditors to ensure accurate financial records.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
Minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting UK or international clients.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations.
Experience with VAT, payroll support, and financial reporting is advantageous.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
