Bim Modeller

Job Description

1. Works under direct supervision performing moderately complex technical work utilizing instructions, drawings, sketches and results from computer systems and schematics.
2. Creates and manages 3D BIM models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or other relevant BIM tools.
3. Collaborates with architects, engineers, and other project team members to ensure accurate and consistent BIM model development.
4. Performs quality control checks on BIM models to maintain data integrity and adherence to project standards.
5. Assists in the development and implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
6. Participates in project meetings to discuss BIM-related issues and provide technical input.
7. Generates 2D drawings and documentation from 3D BIM models as required.
8. Conducts clash detection analyses and reports findings to the project team.
9. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of BIM software and industry trends.
10. May be involved in training and supervising technical personnel.
11. Supports the integration of BIM models with other project management and analysis tools.
12. Assists in the preparation of BIM execution plans and project deliverables.
13. May perform some data entry and model updates as needed.
14. Contributes to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows within the organization.
