Bar Manager

My client, a luxury 5* Hotel on the Atlantic Seaboard, seeks the professional services of an experienced Bar Manager to join their team.

Minimum Experience or Qualification:

1. Diploma in Hotel or Food & Beverage Management advantageous.
2. Must have at least 3 years food and beverage service experience in a 4/5* Hotel Bar or Upmarket Cocktail Bar; of which 2 years should be in a supervisory or management role.
3. Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
4. Experience at operator level of a Point of Sales System – exposure to Micros advantageous.
5. Experience at operator level of a Stock Management System – exposure to FnBShop advantageous.
6. Highly presentable.
7. Solid English verbal and written communication skills.
8. Fluent with hospitality language and terminology, particularly food and beverage vocabulary.
9. Exposure and understanding of restaurant financials.
10. Experience in Service Recovery.
11. Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
