Band 6 Dispensary Pharmacist - NHS Hopsital - North West London

Job Opportunity: Band 6 Dispensary Pharmacist - NHS Hospital - North West London/Hertfordshire

Role: Band 6 Locum Pharmacist - Hospital based

Hours: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)

Duration: ASAP start (December), initially for 3 months (with potential for extension)

Location: North West London/Hertfordshire

Rates: £23 - £26 per hour via Umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

1. Screening and checking medications
2. Inpatient Dispensary Role
3. Some medication counselling (particularly hatch counselling)
4. Dispensing and checking prescriptions

Requirements:

1. Community pharmacy experience is acceptable (hospital experience is ideal, but not essential)
2. Available to start ASAP
3. Ideally full-time (Mon-Fri), but part-time (3-4 days per week) may be considered depending on experience
4. Previous experience in a dispensary setting is beneficial

Additional Information:

Band 7 positions are not available due to funding limitations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a role in a supportive pharmacy team with a clear scope for development.
