Bakery Manager

Food Lover’s Market Stellenbosch is recruiting a Bakery Manager. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bakery Manager in a retail store. Applicant must be able to work under pressure, work fast with attention to detail, and be able to solve problems. As this is a retail store, we trade 7 days a week and are scheduled according to trading hours. Applicant will be responsible for own transport and must stay within the Stellenbosch area.

Applicant will be responsible for:

• Daily / weekly stock take.
• Stock control including waste control and ordering.
• Quality control.
• Checking for expired stock.
• Ticketing and merchandising.
• Food safety and general housekeeping of departments.
• Managing of team members.
• Assisting customers.
• Production.
• Recipe setup and implementation.
• Any other day-to-day requirements regarding the department.
