Job Description

Main Objectives

To manage the financial function on site through the implementation of financial controls recording and reporting to ensure controls are maintained in all finance related functions / procedures relating to business on site / s in area of responsibility to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

1. To ensure asset management processes are implemented and maintained to manage stock accurately to prevent theft.
2. To manage all procedures relating to value chain wages debtors and creditors to prevent misappropriation of company funds.
3. To ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial information through compilation of balance sheet reconciliations.
4. To provide a cost management service to the management team in respect of deviation reporting along with waste elimination opportunities.
5. Financial accounting including:
6. Initiating and maintaining of company procedures and policies relating to admin and finance.
7. Managing risk and taking corrective action.
8. Budget preparation monitoring and variance reporting.
9. Forecasting and financial projections.
10. Ensuring correctness / accuracy of financial data.
11. Perform financial month-end up to trial balance.
12. Compiling of all required reports within set deadlines.
13. Manage ongoing functioning of IT infrastructure.
14. Managing Human Resources.
15. Prepare and assist with audits.
16. Evaluate proposed capital projects and complete capex request.
