You will design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to detect and resolve software defects. To support our growth, we are looking for a Manual and Automation Tester to join our Technology and Quality Assurance team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security of web and mobile applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
3. Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution by the development team.
4. Conduct functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing to ensure systems meet business requirements.
5. Utilize tools like Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Postman, and others for automation and performance testing.
6. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to support continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) pipelines.
7. Validate APIs and data integrity in systems involving financial transactions.
8. Stay updated with emerging trends and tools in software testing and apply them to improve test processes.
9. Contribute to the improvement of quality assurance standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 2-4 years of experience in manual and automation testing, preferably in the financial services industry.
3. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
4. Proficient in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
5. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
6. Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
7. Knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.
8. Experience with version control systems like Git.
9. Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
10. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
11. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying risks.
12. Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
