The ideal candidate will market and sell Prins Autogas systems and technology to commercial fleet, taxi, and e-hailing sectors within the Gauteng region.

The role is to develop and onboard new business, and to retain clients with the objective of maximizing revenue.

The sales position requires a blend of interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, and salesmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and lead generation: Identifying potential customers, such as commercial fleet managers, taxi and e-hailing groups/associations through various channels like networking, cold calling, or attending industry events.
  2. Building relationships: Developing rapport with potential customers, understanding their needs and budget, and presenting the benefits of Autogas systems tailored to their specific requirements.
  3. Handling objections and educating customers: Addressing concerns about Autogas technology, safety, performance, and costs, providing reliable information and dispelling myths.
  4. Negotiating and closing deals: Reaching mutually beneficial agreements with customers, offering competitive pricing packages, and securing sales.
  5. Preparing quotes and proposals: Providing detailed estimations for Autogas system installation, including costs, components, customer ROI and expected benefits.
  6. Liaising with installation technicians: Coordinating with technicians for timely and efficient conversion procedures.
  7. Post-sales customer support: Assisting customers with any queries or technical issues after installation.
  8. Managing administrative tasks: Handling paperwork, invoices, and reporting as needed.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
  2. 3+ years of direct sales experience (experience in fleet sales is advantageous).
  3. At least 2 years of sales experience with a documented successful track record in selling high-end products and/or services in the relevant industry.
  4. Strong sales and communication skills.
  5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  6. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  7. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  8. Time management and organizational skills.
  9. Driver's license.
