Auto Body Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessing vehicle damage and identifying the necessary repairs.
2. Removing damaged body parts and panels and replacing or repairing them.
3. Using specialised tools to repair dents, align frames, and straighten panels.
4. Conducting structural repairs on the vehicle's body and framework.
5. Sanding, filing, and preparing surfaces for painting.
6. Mixing and matching paint colours.
7. Quality checking on all work done for smoothness and uniformity.
8. Repairing minor imperfections in paintwork by buffing, polishing, or applying touch-ups.
9. Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations and protocols, managing hazardous materials and chemicals safely.
10. Ensuring the workspace is clean and organised.
11. Providing updates on repair progress and delivery times.
