AU Sales Agent

In partnership with a Global Specialist Cyclist Insurer solutions company, we are looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Agent to join their team based in Stellenbosch. The purpose of this role is driving sales through telephonically closing sales and upselling insurance packages. A family orientated environment with a group collective of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Policy Sales: Following up on quote requests, taking inbound calls, and assisting customers to take out policies or add additional coverage to their existing policies.
2. Reporting and Administration: Ensuring all internal and external processes are followed, allowing for accurate reporting, and meeting internal and partner requirements.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12 (minimum)
2. Must have your own transport
3. Must have a Neutral Accent - fluent in English as this is for an International campaign
4. Practical experience in sales / upselling (advantageous)
5. Be active and enjoy a fast-paced environment where they can think on their feet
6. Enjoy speaking over the phone and building relationships with clients
7. Be a team player
8. Love learning, chasing targets, and problem-solving
9. Be able to listen well to match the best products with clients’ individual needs
10. Full training is provided

Remuneration & Benefits:

1. Market Related (depending on experience)
2. Shift allowance
3. Commission earnings based on monthly sales and conversion rate
4. Hybrid working environment – 3 days in office and 2 days work from home

Working hours:

1. Early shift: 12:00am to 08:00am
2. Late shift: 02:00am to 10:00am
