We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and experienced Software Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of our solutions to our clients.
Position Overview
As the Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our solutions to clients. You will serve as both project manager and scrum master, working closely with our development team, client-facing teams, and product management to ensure we meet project objectives and deliver high-quality solutions that address client needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with client-facing teams to gather, analyse and track requirements for our solutions.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for implementation.
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives and other agile ceremonies as a scrum master.
- Manage the software development team, removing obstacles, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Coordinate and oversee customer deployments, including planning, configuration, testing and go-live activities.
- Monitor project progress using agile methodologies and KPIs, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial constraints.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including the executive team and clients.
- Facilitate successful solution go-lives by coordinating with client-facing teams and ensuring all necessary training and support is provided.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to our software development processes and methodologies.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex software development projects.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.
- Experience with Jira and its latest features.
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and MS Dynamics, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI a benefit.
- Experience managing customer deployments and implementations in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with digital transformation projects and driving organisational change.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading software development teams.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and budget management.
- Experience using project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong customer service focus and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs.
