The Company & Role
Our client is a national property company that is looking to appoint an Investment Analyst to join its Investment team in the Northwest.
The Investment Analyst will be responsible for:
- Assisting on acquisitions, disposals and monitoring portfolio performance, using data science to inform investment and asset management decisions.
- Performing scenario analysis on investment and disposal opportunities which will also include analysis of the company portfolio to show the impact of different strategic options and enabling a maximised return on the estate.
- Modelling potential market changes to inform senior leadership on the impacts on the portfolio and recommending mitigating or optimised strategies.
- Driving the change and continuous improvement required in systems, people and process to give senior leaders more access to information when making key investment decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Experienced analyst with background in Real Estate
- Highly numerical individual with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Driven and ambitious individual
- Strong proficiency in FP&A tools, Management Information software and proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to influence colleagues at all levels
- Able to confidently present and explain complex information to senior management and board level executives
- Ability to effectively prioritise & manage daily work to fixed deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience with Argus Enterprise valuation software and Power BI
- Knowledge of working in REIT environment
- History of working alongside an FP&A tool implementation
- Awareness of emerging technologies and how these can drive portfolio management efficiency or property performance management
